Roller skating* 2nd Fri. ea month from 1 – 3 pm, at Roll-A-Rena, Anderson. (Open for all homeschoolers)
HSU Educational Parties and Events*: (Dependent upon available parent volunteers)
Field Trips* as arranged for the group by individual parents.
Annual Fall History Party with costumes, activities, games, treats and food
-- all from a particular time period chosen for that year.)
Special field trips* (in the past: Corn Maze, Bonfire and Weiner Roast, Fire Station Tour, etc. )
November - Paramount Festival of the Trees, decorating and field trip.
January Spelling Bee with practice all fall and winter as a group. Both Herald Bulletin and IAHE Bees.
Geography Fair/Cultural Exchange with displays, food shared for lunch, costumes, music, etc. from
a place that each child chooses from anywhere in the world.
Spring Academic Fair – a place for each child to share anything they would like to bring…school projects,
hobbies, favorite things, pictures or videos of places they have visited, food they made, etc.
Annual Used Book/ Curriculum Sale – draws many participating homeschoolers from a wide area of Central IN and farther!
Expo with workshops – Vendors of new materials, Info vendors, and Speakers for inspiring and assisting parents in educating.

HSU members may draw upon the accumulated knowledge and experience of many seasoned homeschoolers.
HSU members receive an ID card each year of HSU membership that entitles them to Educator’s discounts at many businesses.
HSU members receive support if they experience problems with their school district or a threat from CPS.

Our group participates in the Campbell's Labels for Education, General Mills Box Tops for Education program, Perfection
Bakeries School Spirit program, and GFS Fun Funds for fundraisers.
